    ASSETS to LIABILITIES:  This indicates to the consumer the Company's ability to meet all its financial obligations as they become due.  This figure tells you the value of Assets for each $1 of Liabilities.

    SURPLUS to LOSS RESERVES:  Surplus is the funds left over when all the obligations of the Company have been paid.  A high dollar amount reported here indicates the strength and stability of the Company.  The following is per $1 of Loss Reserves:
